EXAMPLE OF LETTER

Dear, Harry

It was lovely to hear from you beside I am sorry that is been so long since I wrote you last. I have had lot of works to do at school especially in scout organization.  I read from your last letter that say you will come to my country, Indonesia and see the Independence celebration. Therefore, I want to tell little about this day.

In 17 August, my country will celebrate the Independence Day. This celebration held year after year in my country. In the 17 August 1945, my country becomes independent. Then, this celebration is very important and must to celebrate.

In this year, people very interesting to celebrate this even. Many flag already stand in front of their house. My family also has a big plan to celebrate this even. You can join with us.

In the morning, my family will attend the flag ceremony in my District’s field. Next, we can see a parade in the town centre. This parade is very interesting because it will show us about how Indonesia becomes independence. In the evening until night, we will have a dinner and barbeque party in my house.

Ok I must to continue my work as a scout member. I am waiting your replay and your coming to my country.
